We come together as women, sisters in Christ, mothers, wives, and grandmothers, all having had a different walk, but all sharing the love of Jesus.
We are committed to helping the women of GRBC grow in knowing, loving, and serving our Sovereign Creator God, and to work together as we grow in Christ-likeness by His grace.
Our ministries focus on the Word of God, on evangelism and discipleship, and on many areas of practical service. There are sweet friendships, lots of laughter, deep spiritual discussions, through the sharing of real-life experiences from a wide range of ages that enriches the lives of all who participate.
We invite all women of Green Run to be involved as they are able, and our earnest prayer is that God will use these ministries for His glory and for our good.
Opportunities for Women
Titus 2 Ministry - On the fourth Sunday night of each month, the women of GRBC gather at the church in the fellowhip hall at 6:00pm. The purpose of this ministry, is for older women to teach younger women what accords with sound doctrine (titus 2:1), including how to love their husbands and children, care for their home, submit to their husbands, and to be self controlled. Topics include Modesty, hospitalty, how to sew, and many other practical teachings of the christian life.
OWLS Community Group is available for our Older, Wiser, Livelier Saints during the week on every 2nd and 4th tuesday of the month at 10:30am.
Adult Bible fellowships are bible classes that meet on Sunday morning from 9:00 am to 9:50am.
Missions - GRBC supports a variety of local and global gospel-centered ministries that offer our women many opportunities to fulfill our purpose of making disciples all over the world.
