Celebrating the Protestant Reformation

On October 31, many churches will recognize the 500 year anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. This leads us to the quesiton, "Does the Protestant Reformation still matter?" If so, why? These are important questions, especially in our day and age, because for many living today in the 21st century, what is important is not the past, but the future. In the month of October, we will take a break from our sermon series in Genesis to draw attention to the importance of the Reformaiton in the life of the church today. On October 22nd at the Church Connection, we will show a short video on the Reformation. And of course, our celebration will culminate at our annual Reformation Day celebration and fellowship meal after the service on October 29th.
